Space Day

After recently seeing a post by the legend that is Morgan Freeman, I decided it was time to see if there was interest! 
The simple thought is to create a "Holiday" once per year. During this date, all lights around the world should be shut off for the night.
This would almost entirely kill light pollution, giving us all an incredible view of our galaxy. 
It will probably never happen, but would you want it if it was possible?
Maybe we can campaign just for the UK to do a trial and see the effects.
